School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant | Oxon Hill, Maryland Soliant - 3.9 Oxon Hill, MD Job Details Contract $24.76 - $44.76 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications SLPA License Multidisciplinary collaboration in speech-language pathology Bachelor's degree Cross-functional communication Full Job Description Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. Qualifications:
Active Maryland SLPA license required Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to the needs of diverse student populations and age ranges Collaborative spirit for working closely with educators, families, and supervising
SLPs Responsibilities:
Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing therapy plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals Deliver direct, evidence-based services to students across multiple caseloads and age groups Accurately document and track student progress as part of the IEP process Prepare materials, maintain therapy spaces, and engage in data collection under SLP supervision Participate in team meetings to discuss student needs and progress Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families to foster positive outcomes
