Qualifications:
Holds active and full Speech-Language Pathology Assistant licensure in Maryland Previous school-based experience preferred, though recent grads are welcome to apply Demonstrates excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Comfortable providing support for students across all age groups, with adaptability for multiple caseloads Professional, collaborative spirit, thriving in dynamic, fast-paced school environments
Responsibilities:
Deliver hands-on support to students with speech and language needs, under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists Assist in implementing evidence-based therapy plans, activities, and interventions Monitor student progress, document sessions, and report on outcomes within established timelines Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success Participate in IEP meetings, help adjust individual plans as necessary, and communicate observations to supervising SLPs This contract position offers an opportunity to work in varied school settings, allowing you to expand your professional skills and make a measurable impact.
