Qualifications:

Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) credential for Maine (ME) Previous experience in a school setting or with preschool-aged children is highly desirable Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Adaptable and flexible approach to working across different classroom environments Ability to work independently while collaborating with supervising SLPs and educational teams

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language therapy services to preschool students under the guidance of a supervising SLP Travel between preschools within the district to deliver services as assigned Support students language, articulation, and communication goals in individual or small group settings Conduct screenings and assist with progress monitoring of students communication skills Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, session notes, and reports Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students academic and communication success
