9665057-04281 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting preschool students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the school year. Work closely with a diverse caseload of 25 young learners, helping to foster communication skills that make a lasting difference. This position starts as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year, with a consistent 32-hour-per-week schedule. In this role, you'll travel between preschools within the district, providing vital services and collaborating with educators and licensed Speech-Language Pathologists. You'll be instrumental in carrying out therapy plans, supporting students individual communication needs, and updating progress notes to ensure tailored interventions.

Qualifications:

Active SLPA certification in the state of Maine Understanding of preschool child development and early intervention best practices Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly desirable Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage travel between district sites as needed

Key Responsibilities:
