Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026/2027 school year in Adrian, MI. This role offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students, providing essential speech and language services. Candidates with experience using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices are especially encouraged to apply. Both full-time and part-time positions are available to accommodate different schedules.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting speech and language evaluations to identify student needs Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to enhance student communication Utilizing AAC devices effectively to support non-verbal or minimally verbal students Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies Qualifications and desired experience: Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion preferred Previous experience working in a school setting highly valued Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with children and school teams Knowledge of AAC devices and their application in therapeutic settings
