Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026/2027 school year in Manchester, MI. This role offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time work within an educational setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with approximately 50 students on their caseload, providing comprehensive speech and language support tailored to each child's needs.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid SLP certification (SLP, SLP-CCC, or SLP-CFY) Previous experience in a school environment Skilled in working with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices Ability to manage a caseload of around 50 students Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Implement speech therapy sessions for students with diverse communication challenges Utilize AAC devices to support students' communication needs effectively Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to track student progress Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with school policies
