Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a crucial role supporting K-12 students with a full-time contract position as a School Psychologist beginning next school year. This opportunity focuses on conducting evaluations and providing insight that helps shape impactful learning environments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute directly to student development near the Manchester, MI area.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Previous experience within school settings is preferred Strong skills in conducting evaluations, report writing, and collaboration Ability to manage a caseload consisting primarily of evaluations Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students Interpret testing results and present findings to educational teams and families Collaborate with educators, counselors, and administrators to support student interventions Participate in IEP meetings and help develop individualized education plans Provide recommendations based on data to help improve student learning and social-emotional wellness Stay current on best practices and comply with legal requirements and district policies You'll make a direct difference by ensuring students receive the support and resources they need to thrive academically and emotionally.
