We offer flexible part-time scheduling and a supportive, collaborative environment where you can build meaningful relationships with children and families while working under the supervision of a licensed SLP. Responsibilities Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering speech and language therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs. Support the implementation of speech-language therapy plans, including exercises targeting speech disorders, language delays, and communication challenges. Work directly with children and students, including those with disabilities, to promote language development and improve communication skills. Collaborate with educators, therapists, parents, and other team members to develop and modify individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy goals. Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote speech therapy services when appropriate, ensuring continuity of care. Maintain detailed documentation of therapy activities, progress notes, and client communication records in compliance with organizational policies. Support clients with physiology and anatomy knowledge to enhance understanding of speech mechanisms and disorders. Requirements Prior experience working with children, students with disabilities, or in pediatric settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of speech-language pathology principles, including speech disorders support, language disorders support, and early intervention strategies. Familiarity with medical terminology related to speech therapy and anatomy knowledge relevant to speech production. Experience working within multidisciplinary teams in speech-language pathology or related fields is advantageous. Acute care experience or school experience supporting children with diverse needs is a plus. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, educators, and healthcare professionals; bilingual skills are a valuable asset.
