Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a vibrant educational environment near Cove City, NC. This role offers the chance to guide student growth by implementing targeted therapeutic interventions as part of a collaborative team.
Desired Experience & Skills:
Valid SLPA license or certification in North Carolina Background in school-based or pediatric speech-language services Ability to implement treatment plans developed by a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist Experience tracking and documenting student progress Excellent interpersonal communication skills for working with students, staff, and families Flexibility and adaptability in classroom and therapy settings Familiarity with IEPs and school documentation preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver small group and individual therapy sessions under the direction of a licensed SLP Support students with diverse communication needs to achieve their goals Prepare materials and adapt activities to support therapy objectives Collect data and maintain accurate records on student performance Communicate clearly with supervising SLPs, teachers, and families Assist in screening and assessment as delegated Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment This assignment provides you with professional variety and the chance to make a meaningful difference in students' lives.
