About us:
Honeybee Therapy Services is a growing, SLP-owned practice serving the communities of Durham, North Carolina. We are dedicated to providing top-quality therapy to children ages birth through 12, specializing in early intervention and neurodiversity-affirming treatment approaches. As a growing practice, we are looking for a confident, self-motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our dedicated team. Our therapists enjoy the flexibility to create their own schedules while building strong, lasting relationships with clients and their families. We currently have an immediate need in the Durham, NC area (with a focus on daycare, preschool, and clinic-based clients). Responsibilities:
Assess and Treat speech, language, and pragmatic disorders in children, primarily toddlers and preschoolers. Collaborate with teachers, parents, caregivers, and other professionals to support diagnosis and treatment of speech and language disorders. Develop Treatment Plans to address speech, language, cognitive development, and social communication skills.
Key Qualities We're Looking For:
Versatile :
Comfortable working in various settings (e.g., daycare centers, preschools, private homes, clinics).
Culturally Competent :
Able to work effectively with diverse populations, including different social, cultural, and economic backgrounds.
Detail-Oriented :
Able to manage a caseload efficiently and maintain clear, accurate documentation.
Strong Communicator :
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders. Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant license or certification. Childcare Background Check through the state of North Carolina. Previous experience with pediatric/early intervention populations is required. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
