Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Key Qualifications and Experience:
Hold a valid SLPA license or certification as required by the state Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred Strong knowledge of speech and language development practices Ability to adapt to different instructional environments and student needs Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and other professionals Comfort in using technology for data collection, progress tracking, and remote collaboration Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct support services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and track student progress Assist with speech, language, voice, and fluency exercises both one-on-one and in small groups Document and report student performance using established tools and protocols Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and staff to support students' educational and social needs Participate in team meetings to review and adjust therapeutic strategies for optimal student outcomes Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students
