This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with experienced speech-language pathologists in both educational and healthcare settings, delivering impactful interventions to students of varying ages and needs.
What We're Looking For:
Associate's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting, or equivalent. Active SLPA licensure as required by state regulations. Background working in schools or pediatric settings strongly preferred. Experience supporting speech-language therapy plans and carrying out treatment activities. Ability to collaborate professionally with multi-disciplinary teams, students, and families. Strong organization, communication, and documentation skills. Enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations and adapting to various learning environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement speech and language therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP. Provide direct and indirect intervention to students within classroom, small group, and one-on-one settings. Accurately document and track student progress and session data. Assist with assessments, program development, and preparation of therapy materials as directed. Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed. Foster a supportive, empowering environment for students pursuing their communication goals.
