Position Overview As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) , you will provide direct speech and language support services to students throughout the Berlin School District under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. You'll help students strengthen communication skills that support learning, confidence, independence, and participation in the classroom and beyond. This is an onsite, school-based role with strong mentorship, leadership support, and opportunities for professional development. Key Responsibilities Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students across district schools Implement treatment plans and IEP goals developed by supervising SLPs Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and communication challenges Document student progress and maintain accurate records Collaborate with teachers, school staff, therapists, and families Assist in creating positive, engaging learning environments Support student participation in academic and social settings Follow state, district, and professional compliance guidelines
Qualifications Required:
Associate's degree or higher from an accredited SLPA program Current SLPA license or eligibility for licensure in New Hampshire Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within school teams Passion for helping children succeed
Preferred:
