School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Hudson, NH ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Hudson, NH Job Details Contract 1 day ago Qualifications Associate's degree Full Job Description Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or completion of an approved SLPA program Current SLPA license or eligibility to obtain in the state Previous experience in a school setting preferred, though recent graduates are encouraged to apply Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with children, educators, and other professionals Ability to follow treatment plans, document progress, and maintain confidentiality
Responsibilities/Duties:
Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to implement therapy plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals Assist with conducting screenings and collecting data for assessment of students' needs Provide direct intervention to students individually or in groups as directed Prepare and organize therapy materials to engage students and reinforce learning Track and document student progress, reporting updates to supervising SLPs and educational teams Participate in team meetings and contribute insight towards individualized education plans (IEPs) Foster an encouraging and inclusive learning environment You'll have the opportunity to expand your experience while making a positive impact in the educational setting.
