Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting K-12 students as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in a welcoming school setting near Mustang, OK. This full-time, contract position offers 37.5 hours per week and runs from August 11, 2026, through May 20, 2027, providing stability and the opportunity to make a lasting impact throughout the academic year. Your skills will be directed toward both direct and indirect services, ensuring therapists are compensated for the breadth of their contributions. You'll work during school hours, free from additional duties such as bus monitoring or parent pick-up, so you can focus entirely on your students and professional growth. Travel therapists can also take advantage of stipend eligibility.
Your role will include:
Assisting certified Speech Language Pathologists in providing therapy services to students in grades K-12 Implementing therapy plans and activities in alignment with student IEPs under the guidance of a licensed SLP Documenting student progress and collaborating with teachers and other education professionals Engaging creatively in sessions to foster communication growth Participating in team meetings as needed, always within contracted hours Ideal candidates bring: A valid SLPA license or eligibility for Oklahoma Previous experience with school-aged children, especially in school-based settings Flexibility, strong communication, and organizational skills Passion for encouraging student development and supporting diverse learning needs Full-time employees in this role are eligible for a robust benefits package, including health, vision, and dental coverage, plus 401k options.
