Desired Skills and Experience:

Credentialed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant with required state licensure Previous experience in a school setting or working with children is preferred Solid understanding of speech and language intervention strategies for elementary-aged students Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and supervising SLPs Strong organizational skills to manage materials, schedules, and documentation across two campuses Compassion, patience, and the flexibility to adapt to students' diverse needs

Role Responsibilities:

Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to elementary students under the supervision of a licensed SLP Assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and report findings to supervising SLPs and educational staff Support classroom teachers with speech and language strategies within the general education setting Prepare therapy materials and resources for individual and group sessions Foster a positive, supportive environment that encourages student participation and growth You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, gain valuable school-based experience, and help students meet their communication goals throughout the academic year.
