Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant supporting K-12 students in a dynamic school setting. This full-time contract position offers 37.5 hours per week, beginning August 11, 2026, and continuing through May 20, 2027. You'll provide both direct and indirect speech-language services, ensuring that every student receives the attention and support they need to thrive academically and socially. This opportunity is tailored for professionals who want to focus on their expertise, with guaranteed hours each week and no extra responsibilities beyond your contracted role—no bus or parent pickup duties. Travel therapists are welcome, with stipends available to help with your transition.
Key Qualifications:
Current SLPA licensure or eligibility to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families Excellent communication and organizational skills Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to K-12 students under the supervision of an SLP Document student progress and maintain accurate records Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for student success Deliver both direct instruction and indirect support within the school setting Full-time employees are eligible for a well-rounded benefits package featuring health, vision, and dental plans, as well as 401k options.
