Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) - Allentown, PA Allentown, PA Job Details Contract 4 days ago Qualifications SLPA License Bachelor's degree Working with individuals with speech impairments Full Job Description Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support student communication development at a school in Allentown, PA. This contract position offers hands-on experience working alongside certified speech-language pathologists in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing individualized speech and language therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to the clinical team Support students in developing communication skills through engaging activities and interventions Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to create a supportive learning environment Prepare materials and maintain therapy equipment as needed
