Job Description

Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with pediatric clients and is comfortable in a fast-paced environment across multiple settings. In this position, you will support children with a variety of communication needs, including receptive and expressive language delays, articulation disorders, and social/pragmatic communication challenges. You will assist in carrying out treatment plans and creating engaging, child-centered therapy sessions. Responsibilities Support the delivery of speech therapy services to pediatric clients under the supervision of a licensed SLP Carry out treatment plans and therapy activities based on each child's individual goals Create and organize therapy materials and engaging session activities Complete session documentation accurately and within required timeframes Maintain clear and professional communication with families, caregivers, and team members Modify therapy approaches depending on the setting (clinic, school, home, or virtual) Foster a positive, supportive, and professional environment for all clients Provide services across a variety of settings, including in clinic, schools/daycares, patient homes, and teletherapy, as needed Travel between service locations as required Uphold a consistent, professional, and supportive atmosphere throughout all interactions Schedule & Work Settings Required availability: 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM Additional morning and weekend hours available This position includes working in multiple settings, such as: Clinic (in-person sessions) Schools/Daycares (on-site services) Patient homes (home-based services) Teletherapy (virtual sessions) Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays available (+$10/hour differential) Requirements Valid SLPA license in the state of Florida is required 1+ year of experience preferred Experience working with pediatric clients required Experience working with children presenting a variety of communication needs preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Reliable transportation with willingness to travel between locations Compensation & Perks Competitive hourly pay ($35-$53/hour equivalent, depending on experience) Additional $10/hour for sessions scheduled after 5 PM, holidays, and weekend visits Opportunities to work across multiple settings (clinic, school, home, and virtual) Supportive, team-oriented work environment How to Apply Please apply through Indeed with your resume.
