Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity working alongside passionate professionals dedicated to supporting students' communication needs. Two Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) positions are currently available, offering a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week (7 hours daily) at a vibrant school community near Middleburg, FL. These roles are essential in delivering high-quality speech therapy services throughout the academic year from ASAP through May 28, 2026.
Role Highlights:
Support the delivery of speech services directly on-site (no virtual/remote option). One SLPA will collaborate with a virtual SLP, facilitating speech sessions with students in person. The other SLPA will manage a traditional caseload, providing hands-on speech therapy. Typical caseload will likely focus on elementary-age students, but specifics will be confirmed. Anticipate working primarily at one school site, allowing you to build rapport and make a lasting difference.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Active and valid Florida
DOH SLPA
licensure required. Experience in school-based settings is a strong plus. Dedication to student-centered, collaborative teamwork. Effective communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement IEP goals under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Facilitate and deliver speech therapy services to students, adapting to their individualized needs. Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing progress reports. Maintain up-to-date and accurate session records and communication logs.
Additional Details:
Candidates must complete fingerprinting and background checks in accordance with state and district policies. Expedited processes may apply if you already have valid fingerprints on file.
