RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works under the direction and supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in accordance with applicable state requirements and company policies.
• Implement therapy activities that support speech, language, communication, and treatment goals under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Assist with therapy programs designed to address communication disorders identified in the patient's treatment plan.
• Collaborate professionally with interdisciplinary team members to support appropriate patient treatment.
• Effectively communicates with physicians, staff, patients, and families while building ongoing professional relationships.
• Keeps accurate records and writes meaningful reports and treatment goals.
• Completes all required patient documentation, including daily documentation and progress notes, accurately and within the specified time period.
• Provides patient and family education that reinforces therapy goals and supports carryover outside of sessions.
• Demonstrates positive interpersonal communications skills while maintaining standards of professional ethics.
• Upholds reliability and professionalism in all therapeutic settings
• Maintains patient confidentiality and follows HIPAA guidelines.
• Assumes personal responsibility for professional development and continuing education.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
• Currently licensed as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant in Texas .

Pay:

$45.00 - $50.00 per hour
