Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. We are currently seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for a school-based opportunity in the Providence area. Position Overview As a School-Based SLPA, you will support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in providing therapy services to students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication needs. You will work closely with educators and clinical supervisors to help students achieve their communication goals. Key Responsibilities Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by supervising SLP Provide direct therapy services under SLP supervision Support speech and language screenings and data collection Document student progress and maintain accurate records Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field Active Rhode Island SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain) Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed
