Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or similar field required Valid SLPA license or eligibility for licensure Previous experience supporting speech and language therapy in a school setting preferred Comfortable working with diverse student populations from Pre-K through high school Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adaptable to a team-oriented atmosphere Organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a dynamic educational setting Familiarity with IEP documentation and therapy data collection is beneficial

Key Responsibilities:

Implement speech and language therapy activities under the supervision of licensed SLPs Support the delivery of services as outlined in students' IEPs Assist with screening, assessment, and progress monitoring of students' communication skills Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and session attendance Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to ensure the success of each student Prepare or modify instructional materials used during therapy sessions Participate in professional development and team meetings as needed
