Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Discover a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting K-8th grade students. This part-time position will have you collaborating across 2-3 school sites, directly impacting students' communication growth and academic success.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
SLPA licensure or certification in accordance with state regulations Previous school-based experience or strong interest in working with K-8th grade populations Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt therapy materials and techniques under the supervision of a licensed SLP Comfortable managing a flexible caseload across multiple school sites
Key Responsibilities:
Implement therapy activities under the direction of a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist Support students' individualized education plans (IEPs) with targeted communication interventions Maintain accurate session notes and documentation in compliance with school and district protocols Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to facilitate student progress Travel as needed between assigned school sites within the district
