Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a full-time SLPA supporting local schools on a contract basis for the upcoming academic year. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students from August 10th through May 28th, working 37.5 hours each week in a vibrant educational environment. Whether you are monolingual or bring additional language skills, your expertise will help young learners connect, communicate, and thrive.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in the state of Texas Background in delivering speech and language interventions within school settings Strong collaboration skills to partner with supervising SLPs and multidisciplinary teams Reliable organizational and documentation abilities Comfort with adapting activities to meet the diverse needs of students Openness to working across different school sites, as assigned during the in-person interview
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language services to students as directed by licensed SLPs Assist with therapy materials, data collection, and session documentation Support the planning and delivery of individualized education programs (IEPs) Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere in all assigned settings Collaborate with teachers and staff to reinforce carryover of skills in the classroom Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times
