School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Crandall, TX Soliant - 3.9 Crandall, TX Job Details Contract 6 days ago Qualifications SLPA License Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract position focuses on working closely with licensed speech-language pathologists to deliver high-quality services to school-aged children.
Key Qualifications:
Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Experience or familiarity with school-based therapy practices preferred Knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in children Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with educators, students, and families Ability to work independently and manage multiple student cases Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services under supervision of an SLP Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans within the school environment Document and track student progress, assisting with data collection and reporting Support students with speech, language, and communication challenges in classroom and small group settings Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success Participate in school meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary team planning as needed This contract opportunity allows for skill development and meaningful work, positively impacting students' growth and communication abilities.
