Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by Speech Pathologist
• Provide direct patient care and support under the supervision of an Speech Pathologist
• Help patients improve their ability to communicate effectively
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises

Experience:

• Experience in speech therapy, particularly with pediatric patients, is highly desirable
• Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
• Knowledge of acute care settings and the ability to work with patients in critical conditions
• Understanding of human anatomy and physiology to support treatment planning

Requirements:

• State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a STA
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
