Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, school-based position in the Fort Worth area for the upcoming school year. About the Role As an SLPA in a school setting, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to help students improve their communication skills and succeed in the classroom. Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field Active Texas SLPA license (or ability to obtain) Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP Provide direct therapy services to students Support students with articulation, language, and social communication goals Collect and record data on student performance and progress Assist with classroom collaboration and carryover of therapy strategies Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and district guidelines Why PDS?
