Kingwood & Humble, TX | Full-Time or Part-Time About Speak for Yourself, LLC Speak for Yourself (SFY) is a therapist-owned private practice dedicated to providing high-quality, individualized speech and language services. We specialize in AAC and work with children with a wide range of communication needs. We believe great therapy starts with great clinicians. Our goal is to provide our team with the support, resources, collaboration, and autonomy they need to do their best clinical work. About the Position We are looking for an experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our pediatric team in the Kingwood/Humble area . This position is ideal for an established SLPA who is comfortable working independently within their scope of practice and enjoys collaborating with SLPs, families, BCBAs, RBTs, and other professionals. Most services will be provided at several partnering ABA centers in the Kingwood/Humble area , with approximately 1-2 days per week at our Kingwood clinic . Full-time and part-time schedules are available. Responsibilities Provide individualized 1:1 speech and language therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP Implement established plans of care and treatment goals Provide services at partnering ABA centers and our Kingwood clinic Work with children with autism, language disorders, speech sound disorders, and complex communication needs Implement AAC systems and communication supports as appropriate Complete daily treatment documentation accurately and on time Communicate patient progress and clinical concerns with the supervising SLP Collaborate with BCBAs, RBTs, families, caregivers, and other members of the treatment team Help promote generalization of communication skills across environments Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field Current Texas SLPA license Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as an SLPA Pediatric experience required Experience working with autistic children and/or within ABA settings preferred AAC experience strongly preferred Strong clinical judgment within the SLPA scope of practice Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills Reliable transportation and ability to travel between assigned locations in the Kingwood/Humble area What We Offer Competitive compensation Established pediatric caseload Full-time and part-time opportunities Primarily daytime treatment opportunities Therapy materials and clinical resources provided Computer and iPad provided for clinical use Access to AAC devices and applications Ongoing support and supervision from experienced SLPs Collaborative relationships with ABA teams Opportunities to expand AAC and complex communication experience Supportive, team-oriented work environment Schedule & Location Services are provided at several ABA centers throughout the Humble/Kingwood area , as well as approximately 1-2 days per week at our Kingwood clinic .
