Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide essential support in a K-12 school setting located in Killeen, TX. This contract position requires an onsite commitment of 40 hours per week, working directly with students across various grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language support services to students in grades K-12 under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Assist in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs). Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation. Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and specialists to support student communication development.
Qualifications:
Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) certification. Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work onsite full-time as required.
