Our team is committed to helping students succeed by delivering consistent, effective, and compliant therapy services in school settings. Position Overview TX-STAR is currently seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support one of our school partners in the Lubbock area. This is an immediate need for the current school year, with the potential for continued placement. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct therapy services and assist in supporting student communication goals. Key Responsibilities Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students as directed by the supervising SLP Implement treatment plans and document student progress Assist with data collection, therapy activities, and material preparation Support students with a variety of communication disorders, including articulation, language, and social communication Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Collaborate with teachers, staff, and the supervising SLP to support student success Participate in ARD meetings as appropriate Qualifications Active Texas SLPA license (required) Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders or related field School-based experience preferred, but not required Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage caseload and documentation effectively Why Join TX-STAR?
