Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into an opportunity where you can make a real difference in the lives of students by utilizing your expertise as a bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). This full-time, contract position is designed for passionate professionals who thrive in dynamic educational environments, providing support to students and collaborating with educators and families. With four positions available, you'll have the chance to be part of a committed team dedicated to helping every student reach their full communication potential. Qualifications:
Active SLPA licensure and good standing Bilingual proficiency required to effectively serve diverse student populations Previous experience working in a school environment as an SLPA Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for engaging with students, families, and staff Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently Passion for supporting children's educational and developmental goals
Responsibilities:
Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and district guidelines Conduct speech and language screenings and assist with assessments as directed Implement therapy plans and document student progress Collaborate with educational teams and participate in planning meetings Communicate with families and caregivers, supporting carryover of skills in home environments Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all state, federal, and district policies This is your chance to advance your career in a role where your bilingual abilities will not only be valued but essential.
