Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into an impactful contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA), supporting students and collaborating with a dedicated educational team. This role allows you to put your skills to use in a school-focused environment, helping children succeed in their communication goals.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid SLPA license or state certification required Experience within a school setting strongly preferred Understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in children Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Ability to follow IEPs and treatment plans as directed by an SLP Collaborative approach to working with teachers, parents, and other team members
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist supervising SLPs in delivering therapy and interventions to students Provide direct and indirect speech-language services under supervision Collect and document student performance data Prepare materials and support classroom staff with implementation of strategies Participate in meetings and communicate student progress as needed Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school and professional guidelines This contract position offers a fulfilling professional experience within a supportive educational setting.
