Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school environment where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) can make a daily difference in students' lives. This rewarding full-time contract role offers 37.5 hours per week, empowering you to collaborate with a diverse educational team and support student growth and communication.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current valid SLPA license or certification required Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact confidently with students, families, and staff Ability to implement intervention plans developed by Speech-Language Pathologists Organizational skills to manage assigned caseload (caseload to be determined) Familiarity with data collection, progress monitoring, and reporting
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver therapy services to students under the direct supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Support students with speech, language, and communication needs in both individual and group settings Assist in developing and implementing therapy materials and activities Document student progress and maintain accurate records as directed Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs) Engage with caregivers and teachers to foster a supportive educational experience for students
