Qualifications:

Degree in Communications or Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (a license is not required in Virginia for SLPA roles, but degree is essential) Experience in a school-based setting preferred Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

Assist speech-language pathologists with implementing therapy plans and interventions Support students in developing speech, language, and communication skills across a variety of school sites Document progress and help maintain accurate records Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff
