Speech Pathology Assistant - Richmond, VA Soliant - 3.9 Richmond, VA Job Details Contract 1 hour ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Bring your passion for helping students communicate and grow as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting a local school community near Richmond, VA. This contract opportunity allows you to make a positive impact on children's education and development while working with a collaborative team of educators and therapists.
Desired Skills and Background:
Valid SLPA licensure or eligibility for licensure in Virginia Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and families Familiarity with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Proficiency in delivering therapy and support services under the supervision of a licensed SLP Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing student needs
Key Responsibilities:
