Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Utilize your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to assist students with a full spectrum of needs, from mild to severe. You'll collaborate with educators and other specialists, providing both group and one-on-one interventions, and using a combination of push-in and pull-out service models to maximize student success.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

Completion of an SLPA program or holding a SLPA certification, ideally with a background in communication sciences Previous work in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of support needs, implementing diverse intervention approaches Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team Committed to working in-person (remote or telehealth services are not offered for this position) Reliable for a Monday through Friday schedule, 7.5 hours each day

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech-language services to students, both in small group and one-on-one settings Implement intervention plans developed by supervising SLPs Track student progress and document session notes accurately Provide push-in support within classrooms as well as pull-out services for targeted instruction Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP review processes when applicable You'll build strong relationships with high school students while developing your own professional expertise in the field.
