Full Job Description Overview:
School-Based Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) 2026-2027 School Year! Lakewood, WA | Full-Time | Middle School Support middle school students while enjoying a stable school schedule and a supportive clinical team!

Responsibilities:
Support and implement speech-language programs designed by the supervising SLP Assist with goal development and track student progress through accurate documentation Provide feedback to the SLP on student performance and AAC device use Communicate regularly with the SLP/Lead SLP and school staff Help educate students, families, and school personnel on therapy strategies Maintain competency and follow best practices in speech-language support Identify additional student needs and refer to the SLP as appropriate
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of speech language pathology assistant with an Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Licensure:
Current State License to practice
Speech-Language Pathology Experience:
One year experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant preferred.
Skills:
Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. Good interpersonal skills.
