Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with individuals of all ages, particularly children, to diagnose and treat various speech and language disorders. Responsibilities Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs Provide therapy to individuals with speech and language difficulties Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement therapy plans Keep detailed records of evaluations and progress Requirements Experience working with pediatric patients Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language Proficiency in speech therapy techniques Familiarity with medical terminology Experience in acute care settings is a plus Understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Ability to work in school settings with students
