Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available in Minocqua, WI for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position offers both full-time and part-time schedules within a K-12 public school setting. This role involves working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapeutic support that meets individualized education program (IEP) goals. The SLPA will contribute to improving students' communication abilities through targeted therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individual and small-group speech therapy focusing on articulation, language, fluency, and social communication Implement and follow treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP Monitor and document student progress accurately Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers to support student success Assist with IEP implementation and ensure compliance with district, state, and organizational standards
Desired Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited SLPA program Current active state SLPA license or registration Ability to work under direct and indirect supervision of an SLP Strong communication and organizational skills School-based experience is preferred but not mandatory
