Serves as the central point of contact for OR Clinical Staff, SPD, and General Stores. Assists with location and transport of case carts. Troubleshoots instrument problems. Able to recommend alternatives when desired instrumentation is unavailable. Facilitates the instrument fast turn-over process. Decontaminates and sterilizes instruments in the Operating Room following recommended guidelines and provides accurate documentation for this process. Assists O.R. Clinical staff in obtaining necessary instrumentation and supplies for surgical procedures. Providence caregivers are not simply valued

Required qualifications:

2 years Experience as Sterile Processing Technician or OR Scrub Technician. Upon hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician

• Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution or Upon hire: National Certified Instrument Specialist
