Qualifications:
Experience as a Sterile Processing Technician in a healthcare environment Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician preferred; non-certified candidates with relevant experience encouraged to apply Knowledge of infection control protocols and sterilization techniques Ability to operate and maintain sterilization equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clinical teams
Responsibilities:
Decontaminate, assemble, wrap, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment Conduct routine equipment maintenance and quality assurance checks Ensure timely and accurate supply of sterile instruments to surgical and procedural areas Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and manage restocking processes Adhere to hospital policies and regulatory standards for infection prevention Troubleshoot and report malfunctioning equipment as needed Support continuous improvement of sterilization workflows for optimal efficiency This assignment provides an excellent chance to enhance your clinical skills and contribute to crucial daily operations within a respected healthcare environment.
