We are seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to support a high-volume healthcare facility during the evening shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing surgical instruments and equipment while ensuring strict adherence to infection control and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming loaner and consignment trays for accuracy and completeness Verify tray contents before and after sterilization according to established standards Track trays throughout the sterilization and return cycle in coordination with leadership Communicate effectively with team members and vendors to ensure timely processing Maintain accurate documentation and records in instrument tracking systems Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols Support workflow efficiency in a fast-paced sterile processing environmentQualifications:
High School Diploma or GED requiredCertifications & Licensure:
CRCST or CSPDT certification required BLS certification requiredExperience Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on sterile processing experience Experience handling loaner and consignment trays Familiarity with instrument tracking systems and documentation processesPreferred Skills:
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective communication and teamwork abilitiesAdditional Information:
