In this vital role, you will be responsible for the sterilization, preparation, and management of surgical instruments and medical equipment, supporting a safe and efficient clinical environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a thorough understanding of sterile processing procedures, and a commitment to maintaining compliance with industry standards. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to patient care quality through meticulous instrument management and infection control practices. Responsibilities Properly clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical devices according to established protocols and manufacturer instructions. Inspect instruments for damage or wear, ensuring all equipment is in optimal condition before use. Maintain accurate inventory records of sterile supplies and equipment, utilizing inventory management systems to track usage and reorder supplies as needed. Prepare sterilized instruments for surgical procedures, ensuring correct packaging and labeling in compliance with aseptic techniques. Adhere strictly to infection control policies and aseptic techniques during all processing activities. Assist with the storage, organization, and distribution of sterile supplies within the facility. Document sterilization cycles, maintenance activities, and quality assurance checks for compliance audits. Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to meet operational needs efficiently. Stay current with industry standards, best practices, and ongoing training related to sterile processing. Night 5x8-Hour (18:00•02:30)
