Job Description:
Position Summary Under the department leadership, the Instrument Technician is responsible to provide support services in the perioperative setting, including main OR, Short Stay Unit, and the PACU and all other hospital departments. Cleans, assembles equipment, sterilizes and disinfects supplies, instruments, and equipment according to established policies and procedures. Performs material management functions in relation to par levels. Accurately documents the sterilization process. Experience Previous experience in sterile processing or current certification in sterile processing required. Education High school diploma, G.E.D. required. Completion of a sterile processing course or equivalent work experience in instrument processing required. Licensure/Certifications Certification from HSPA - CRCST or
CBSPD - CSPDT

Assigned Work Hours:
Full Time 10:00 pm to 06:30 am, M-F with rotating weekends
Position Type:
Regular Pay Range (based on years of applicable experience): $37.61 to $50.32 The hours employees work determine when a shift differential is paid.
Hourly Evening Shift Differential:
$2.17
Hourly Night Shift Differential:
$3.26
