The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and sterile environment for both patients and staff. This position requires a strong understanding of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and the ability to manage medical documentation effectively. Duties Perform sterilization of dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation related to sterilization processes. Assist in the preparation of treatment rooms for procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are sterile and ready for use. Implement infection control measures to prevent cross-contamination in the dental office. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in sterilization. Conduct routine inspections of sterilization equipment and report any malfunctions or issues. Support four-handed dentistry by efficiently managing instruments during procedures. Stay updated on advancements in sterilization techniques and infection control practices. Requirements Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control standards in a healthcare setting. Familiarity with medical records management and medical documentation processes. Experience in general dentistry is preferred. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety within the practice.
