Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Supervisor to provide leadership and operational oversight within the Central Sterile Processing (CSP) department. This role supports surgical services leadership in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant sterile processing operations that directly impact patient care and surgical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide supervision and support for Central Sterile Processing staff. Assist with orientation, training, and ongoing development of CSP personnel. Ensure compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and infection control standards. Oversee instrument cleaning, assembly, sterilization, and distribution processes. Support development, review, and implementation of departmental policies and procedures. Maintain efficient daily workflow and ensure timely turnaround of surgical instruments. Collaborate closely with surgical services, infection prevention, and hospital leadership teams. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Certifications:
Sterile Processing Certification from an accredited program (required) BLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)
Experience:
