Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Sterile Processing Technician certification required Proven hands-on proficiency in sterile processing operations within a healthcare environment Strong working knowledge of infection control, decontamination, sterilization techniques, and instrument management Diligence in maintaining regulatory compliance (state and federal) Ability to navigate fast-paced work environments while balancing attention to detail Effective communication and teamwork skillsKey Responsibilities:
Decontaminate, clean, sterilize, assemble, and distribute instruments, trays, and supplies according to established protocols Inspect and test instrumentation for function and cleanliness prior to sterilization Maintain accurate documentation for sterilization logs and inventory Manage storage, retrieval, and deployment of supplies and equipment throughout the facility Operate autoclaves, washers/disinfectors, and other sterilization equipment with adherence to manufacturer specifications and safety regulations Collaborate with clinical and perioperative teams to anticipate and address instrumentation needs Identify, report, and resolve equipment or supply issues promptlyBenefits and Perks:
