Responsibilities:
Supervision of Sterile Processing Department staff to ensure proper departmental flow in the decontamination, preparation, sterilization and distribution of instrumentation to all departments within the hospital that utilize surgical instrumentation.
Qualifications:
Education H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required Completion of an accredited sterile processing or surgical technology course Required Work Experience 3 years work experience in a Sterile Processing department as a technician with at least one year of leadership experience Required 2 or more years of sterile processing or related field supervisory experience Preferred Licenses and Certifications Sterile Processing Technician certification
