Job Description:

Work Schedule:

2nd Shift 5pm - 11pm. Weekend call 8-hour shifts. Prepares, inspects, and assembles surgical instruments and trays, ensuring proper sterilization, packaging, and documentation for safe clinical use. Operates and monitors sterilization equipment, verifying parameters, indicators, and records before releasing instruments. Performs decontamination duties including cleaning, disassembling, inspecting, and segregating reusable instruments per manufacturer guidelines. Maintains accurate tracking, logs, and compliance documentation, including responding to sterilization failures and recall processes. Collaborates with team members and hospital departments, supports training, and rotates across all sterile processing areas.

• Knowledge of the use, operation, maintenance, assembly, disassembly and cleaning requirements of the full range of instruments and equipment.

• Technical/Vocational School [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 1+ related experience [Preferred]

Additional Information:

N/A Licenses and Certifications:

• Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) [Required] OR
• Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Preferred]

Pay Range:
